SimAv provides simulation training courses to support the Specific Training Courses in General Medicine of the Liguria Region. Students acquire technical and relational skills and competences using simulation teaching methodologies and technologies (macrosimulation, microsimulation, virtual and augmented reality, relational simulation).

Starting in January 2020, the first course will involve 65 new family doctors to learn how to manage the main medical emergencies they may face at home, along with a series of techniques (venous access, dressings, sutures) that can be performed without necessarily having to hospitalize the patient.
