SimAv is taking part in the Healthcare Simulation Week 2020 organized by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare to raise awareness about how healthcare simulation is leading us to safer, more knowledgeable patient care.

In 2019, we published a video describing the benefits of simulation, taking the second place in the video contest!

This year, we introduce three new simulators which upgrade our equipment:

-       Chest Drain & Needle Decompression Trainer by Limbs and Things, designed to meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals training in surgical or guidewire assisted thoracostomy and thoracentesis. This product allows for a variety of chest drain insertion techniques to be performed including ultrasound-guided techniques.

-       Ultrasound Guided Shoulder and Knee Injection Trainer by Limbs and Things, anatomically accurate models for injection and aspiration using palpation or ultrasound-guidance
