Digital Medicine for Prevention and Treatment

The primary objective of digital transformation in the public sector is to improve services offered to citizens through the simplification and innovation that new technologies enable. The expected benefits are pervasive across various sectors. The benefits and potential of remote "digital medicine" are particularly evident in the healthcare sector. This increases the effectiveness and efficiency of services, as well as their accessibility, even from home and in locations that are logistically difficult to reach.

Thanks to the collaboration of: ASL Liguri, Liguria Digitale, University of Genoa, Professional Ordersi, Rotary Club San Martino Hospital, the Esaote company, various companies and associations have implemented a pilot awareness campaign for the Ligurian population. For several months, the effectiveness of remote digital methodologies was tested in the field, aimed at assessing their usability and also assessing citizens' satisfaction and their proposals. The results were presented and discussed at the conference ‘Medicina Digitale per la prevenzione e la cura'.
