SimAv hosts basic bleeding control courses according to the campaign "Stop the Bleed" to improve the survival of victims with massive hemorrhages. With proper training, the assistance provided by a non-medical civilian responder can often mean the difference between life and death, even before qualified help arrives.

The course, held by Trauma Bleeding Control instructors, follows the indications provided by the BleedingControl organization, under the aegis of the American College of Surgeons. Participants learn various techniques for bleeding control, such as direct pressure, topical hemostatic agents, and tourniquets, which are the cornerstone of hemorrhage management. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course.
