Dr. Andrea Calandrino, a specializing in pediatrics, was interviewed as part of the workshop entitled ‘Robot-Assisted Training for Primary Care: How can robots help train doctors in medical examinations?’. The workshop, to be held next October 25, is part of IROS - International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems and aims to bring together the medical and robotic/engineering communities to identify opportunities for the development of robotic technologies serving medical training. During the interview the SimAv was presented and technological challenges have been highlighted in medical simulation.
