The SimAv Project for the Institute Vittorino-Bernini realizes activities of School-Work Alternation with the use of simulation.
Students from the Classical and Scientific High Schools will have the opportunity to use high-fidelity medical simulation technologies, simulate an outpatient setting with medium- and low-fidelity tools, and even practice basic surgery. Activities will take place on April 29th and 30th, and June 10th.
The training program, through lectures and simulation exercises, will address emergency/urgent topics such as: the emergency kit, wound dressing, stitching, hand washing, vital signs monitoring, first aid (CPR/BLS-D), burn treatment, first aid in cases of drowning, intoxication, drug use, and trauma. On the final day, participants will participate in the "Bleeding Control Basics" course, which will provide certification.
